Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Walls, sidewalks, and floors made of poured concrete should all be smooth and polished.
- Form alignment for gutters, curbs, and sidewalks; void patching; expansion joint cutting using saws.
- Use a rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float, spread, level, and smooth the concrete.
- Using straightedge, jointers, and edging tools, mould expansion joints and edges.
- Throughout concrete finishing operations, keep an eye on and implement safety standards.
- Maintain and clean the equipment and tools.
- Tell the driver of the truck to pull over so that concrete may be poured more easily.
- Let recently poured concrete cure.
- Utilize sealing and hardening agents to cure the concrete’s surface.
