Available Positions:
1. NatCat Specialist (1 Position, Tenure: 3 Months)
- Qualification: MS/PhD (Minimum 16 years education) in GIS & RS, Geo-Informatics, Spatial Data Science, Hazard/NatCat Risk Modeling, GIS Development, or related programming.
- Experience:
- At least 10 years’ industry experience in managing data centers or large-scale GIS/RS risk assessment projects.
- Expertise in GIS/IT/RS infrastructure, spatial data systems, configurations, and IT applications.
- Proven experience in managing GIS, hazard modeling, ML, and AI applications.
- Knowledge of hydrometeorological, seismic, and other hazard-related risk modeling tools.
- Experience in preparing hazard/risk assessments, reports, and contingency frameworks.
2. GIS Developer/Modeling Expert – NatCat Data Center (1 Position, Tenure: 6 Months)
- Qualification: BS/MS in Geoinformatics, Computer Science, GIS Development, or related programming field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years post-graduation experience.
- Strong knowledge of developing/maintaining live landmark and international projects of similar nature.
- Familiarity with open-source platforms (GeoServer, PostgreSQL, PostGIS, Leaflet, Open Layers).
- Proficiency in JavaScript libraries, APIs, and visualization tools such as D3, HighCharts, or Mapbox.
