Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Electricians assemble, evaluate, and detect problems.
- Electricians repair and replace electronic wiring.
- Read blueprints and schematics.
- Document repairs and modifications according to the procedures.
- Manage and mentor-apprentice electricians.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients.
- Diagnose and address functionality and safety issues.
- Able to design and install indoor and outdoor electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Regularly inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers.
- Stay updated on revisions to the National Electric Code (NEC) and other relevant legislation, and building and safety regulations.
